Welcome to St Mary's Church, serving the Long Ditton community

1/41

LOCAL HISTORY EVENING

Thursday 21st July at 7pm in St Mary’s Community Hall

       Book your place here:

St Mary’s Church is one of the oldest buildings in the area and listed in the Domesday Book.

We want to share the history of our church, and in particular its most famous graves.

We hope that you feel an interest, and hopefully some sense of ownership and pride, in your local church.

There will be presentations from former Churchwarden Peter Topp on the history of our church; Curate Revd Professor Alison Baverstock on our Titanic grave and Chris Howard on the role of the church in our community.

There will be wine, nibbles and convivial chat – and a chance for you to meet other local residents.

We ran a similar event last November, and are offering something similar (with new information, so do come again if you enjoyed it last time!) by popular request.

Join us in Church for our Sunday services:

8am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion

10.15am Parish Communion with choir and organ - in Church and online
