Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals

Baptisms

We welcome all who wish to be baptised, or to have their babies baptised at St Mary’s.  Baptisms are normally carried out on the second Sunday of the month during our 10:15am service.  Please contact the Parish Office in the first instance and one of our baptism team will be in touch.

Weddings

St Mary’s is an attractive setting for a wedding. There are various rules governing who may be married at St Mary’s and we will need to check that you are eligible.  In the first instance please contact the Parish Office.  You will then be contacted to discuss your wedding plans further and clarify the charges that apply.

Funerals

St Mary’s provides a dignified setting for a funeral of a loved one.  We have a Garden of Rest in the remains of our old church where ashes may be buried and inscriptions added to memorial tablets.  You should contact a Funeral Director in the first instance who will be able to discuss arrangements with you.
